- Professor Karla Longree, left, uses a pH meter to test the acidity of foods, assisted by Mrs. Anna R. Willman, laboratory technician, for the project, "The Effect on Bacterial Counts of Holding, Refrigerating and Freezing Cooked Foods Prepared in Quantity." The project, carried out with the cooperation of Prof. J.C. White of the department of dairy industry, was the subject of a demonstration at the 1958 Farm and Home Week.
