Description:
Two College of Home Economics sophomores, Yvonne Jordan and Jackie Derman, observe modeling of dress made from Indian sari at modern fashion design event. Carol Diver adjusts the back panel for Wendy Sorenson of Manchester, VT, who made and designed the dress as part of her course work in the department of textiles and clothing. The dress was displayed in a special event, "Clothing for Moderns," during the 1957 Farm and Home Week.
