- Representatives of statewide women's organizations gathered at the College of Home Economics during the 1956 Farm and Home Week for a consumer education workshop. Seated' from left, are: Dean Helen G. Canoyer of the College of Home Economics; Dr. Persia Campbell, consumer counsel to New York Governor Harriman; Bevalie Cone Pritchard of Ithaca, who represented the Women's Auxiliary to the Medical Society of New York State; and, standing, Olive Leonard of Ithaca, who represented the New York State Daughters of the American Revolution.
