- Description:
- Two women, Lois Datthyn and Joyce Bolt, demonstrate efficient meal preparation by preparing a cereal that can be eaten by both baby and grown family members, with Datthyn straining and Bolt adding raisins to adult portions in the homemaking apartment in Martha Van Rensselaer Hall, 1946.
Caption reads: "As a part of their plan to reduce work, "cook" and "mother" prepare a cereal which can be eaten by the baby as well as the family. Above, Lois Datthyn of Shortsville (left) strains the cereal for young Jerry, while Joyce Bolt of Great Neck adds raisins for adult consumption."
