Long Lamai
Lakau betēē' (hunting)
- Description:
- Weapons were often shared by different people. The first guns arrived in Long Lamai in the 1950s and had been purchased by Wilson Bian Belare's late father, Bian Belaré' They were used only by adults, and the young man on the right is probably showing his friend how to use one. Both men on the photograph are brothers of Garen Jengan's late grand father, Jengan Mela. The man on the left, his name is Agin and on the right, his name is Kawe.
