My dear Sir,
The respective premium has been received. Were it a case of law, and were I one of the [?], I confess I should feel some difficulty in deciding. But I think as you had paid for the sheep, I should give you the benefit of any doubt. As you however, more learned in the law, rule otherwise, I must bow to your decision. With many thanks for your very handsome letter. I am my dear sir yours very sincerely,
