- These maps are from a revised, 1942 German-language version of the seminal booklet, "The War in Maps," published in 1941 by the "German Library of Information" in New York. For more information about this controversial publication, see ID ##1302.01-.07, "The War in Maps" (1941). (Maps largely duplicating the earlier publications are not repeated here.) These two maps detail German progress in the war in the Atlantic, with sweeping red arrows suggesting the spread of German sea power.
