Trial of Henry Rogers, the captain, William Miles, first mate, and Charles E. Seymour, second mate, of the ship ""Martha and Jane,"" of Sunderland, for the wilful murder on the high seas, of Andrew Rose, a seaman, tried at the Liverpool summer assizes, before Mr. Baron Watson, on the 19th August, 1857, with the particulars of the execution of the captain, the fate of the two mates being yet undecided.
